I have had some of my chickens and ducks confined within the electric poultry fence since last year. Never lost one inside the fence and their coops were in no way secure. I don't even know if the ducks go into the coop at night. We have plenty of raccoons, possums, coyotes and fox in this area. It is only my chickens that have the run of the farm that we have lost. Haven't lost any in the pasture with the donkeys either. If only I could get the free-rangers to stay in the pasture...Has anyone had issues with foxes getting through portable electrified poultry netting?
We really want the remaining chickens to be able to forage and need to find a way to do it safely. Will that be enough to deter a fox?
