I went out today and one of my blue swedish girls (the small one) was dead in the run, all her organs were left it looked like her neck had been snapped and the skin off her neck and chest had been eaten off.
The second was my fatty, I think he was actually a boy and there was no way he could have flown out of the coop and it would have been hard to drag him over their seven foot fence but he was about five feet outside the run, same thing; broken neck, organs still there, skin gone.
I was thinking a cat could have got him because they would leave the mess and eat the skin but idk how they could have dragged it up and over...
we have possums and my dad claims he saw a porcupine. I heard a red tailed hawk yesterday but never saw him and I'd think he would have taken off with the bird or at least eaten the organs.
We have feral cats that come by but I chase them off or throw rocks at them (not to hurt them, just to make loud noises near them like I'll throw it at a tree near them, I'd never hurt anything more than a mosquito)
The run is buried in the ground around 8 inches and has concrete cinders so I know they couldn't have gotten under...
there is one hole underneath but it's a mole hole and I leave it so when I drain my kiddy pool it goes through the hole down the hill to where I know where the hole ends so it's a pretty soggy abandoned hole at this point and only about 2 inches in diameter; my duck couldn't have even put its head in it.
I just wanna know who did this so I can better proof my coop....
(I feel like a criminal profiler except for animals lol)

oh and both were belly up

I don't think so... just moles. And could a weasel drag a fat duck up and over a seven foot fence? (I know she couldn't have flied over it, the little one tried to fly but couldn't even get her feet off the ground)
