What kind of bird is right for me?

Hiya! This is a bit different of a post i’ve made on here haha. I have a tendency to ‘over-research’ things and almost always end up in a situation where I have to make a very big decision lol. I really want to get a pet bird, but I can’t decide on what kind. I‘ve only ever owned a budgie, so I’m looking for a beginner bird breed. I understand that birds are a really large responsibility. I also have taken into consideration getting a house pigeon, I already have done a decent amount of research on pigeons, so if anyone on here knows about keeping them and could give me some info, that would be much appreciated!

I don't know about pigeons, but I had a single lovebird, who was amazing. I also had a great canary, and one not so great.

I have also never kept pigeons before. But like @AntiqueB I have kept lovebirds and they are excellent beginner birds and are extremely easy to breed and train. Best to get a lovebird as a baby, not an adult because babies are easier to train. I first had a pair and after 7 years they tripled in size and now I have around 120. I would look more into lovebirds because they are stellar birds for beginners.
