What kind of breed is this?! I must have it.

Could be completely wrong but I think his color/pattern is known as creole or crele, I've seen it spelled both ways.

Size/comb would be determined by breed dominique/chantecleur/wyandotte/OEG.

Might be someplace to start.

he is a cross looks like with wyandotte and a barred breed

this is crele and he is close

Feathersite has a photo of a Crele Bantam Wyandotte, looks pretty close to me:

i wouldnt call this crele. crele is a barred bird and there really is no barring on him. he might be a project of someone who is trying to create the crele coloring

He is gorgeous! I love crele coloring AND Wyandottes, so I love, love, love him!!! To me he looks like a Crele Bantam Wyandotte. He looks to be purebred Wyandotte as well, if he was mixed with OEGB you would see it in his body type, he looks far too wyandottish. Post on the Wyandotte Thread, see what those folks have to say. Again, love him!

Respectfully disagree. I do see faint barring on the chest, hackles, saddle, tail feathers. Faint--more like you see in Delawares, but looks barred to my eye. Perhaps some might call it a cuckoo rather than barring.

Here is a link to a website (England) that advertises their Poultry (sorry but it wont let me cut and paste the photos):
http://rotherhampoultry.com/wyandottebantam.html

They have a Bantam Crele Wyandotte Roo that looks just like the Feathersite photo and may be the same bird. Clicking around the website they have a photo of him at a show with his first place award. Seems to me that frequently we have photos of birds and we assume they are American in origin but really they could be from any place in the world and the breed standards and breeds themselves are very different depending on the country of origin. I suspect that the OP's photo may be of a British bird and may not even be the photographer's work considering they listed it as a RIR.
