Last spring I took in a black chicken that needed a new home. The owner was unsure of the breed. She is pure black with white ears. I thought surely that she was a Minorca. I have only brown layers and figured she would be my only white layer. I haven't seen a white egg yet. Is there a breed of chicken with white ears that lays a brown egg? She is only a little over a year old now....
