What kind of chicken? Help identify Kevin!

This little guy/gal wandered into a neighborhood garage. We couldn't find the owner, so we took her in with our flock. Boy? Girl? Now that she is getting some nutrition, her comb is getting more red. Also, little blue ears are appearing! Any idea on the breed? Super sweet. She was a little beat up to say the least, poor thing! She is young...and my approx same aged 4 babies (about 8 weeks) aren't taking her "in" as a friend, to their mini gang and it has been a week. So sad.... Any suggestions? We named him/her Kevin. Kevin thanks you in advance as does our family!

Thank you! I examined her and watched her for a few days. She seems fine... did I mess up? Never had a lost chicken come into our group before...
