What kind of chicken is this baby?

They were all a mix from a local farming program that donated to our school. None of the eggs were dark brown. It will definitely be fun to see what they turn out to be.

If the eggs are from a mixed breed flock, then the baby is a mix, and anybody’s guess as to what breeds it’s parents where. By that coloring, you can tell that the chick will most likely turn out a black chicken, possibly a blue (can’t really tell from photo). I’m sure all of the kids where super excited to do this project with you!

I ended up taking this baby home (a long with 3 other babies). This one is much smaller than the other three (but is feisty). Here are 3 pics. One is at 2 days old, the others are at almost 2 weeks.
