We raised this chicken from a chick, we got her from tractor supply, they called her a black sex link, but my dad thinks different, can you guys help me out. Thank you.

Feather coloring looks the exact same as my americana. They look pretty much alike except ameraucanas have fluffy cheeks. The one on the left looks like a Rhode Island Red

It’s missing several key points to be an amerucauna, and yours is an ee, a mix.

Black sex links come in a wide variety of color patterns. I have never seen one quite like her, but with crosses sometimes the extreme happens.

I’ve seen a lot of bsls, I have one and take care of four, all are mostly black.

Five is not a significant sample size. Look at black sex link pictures. Yes, most are significantly more black than her, but if you look at hundreds there is a wide range of coloration.

I have seen "homemade" black sex links that look just like her, so I vote BSL
