okay I bought 11 supposed pullets from one man, he said they are rir, white leghorn, barred rock, buff rock, and brown star...anyone heard of a brown star? then yesterday I bought 7 more supposed pullets from a different mad who had no idea what they are because he bought the eggs from someone else. I know the spotted ones are the barred rocks and the solid whites are the leghorns...I think...and the dark reds are the rir, but what are the others? All of them are the same age, 9 weeks. Any help on breeds and sexes would be appreciated. I think a couple are roosters. not very good pics, ive got a seperated joint in my shoulder and couldnt hold them. Here we go.

Welcome
Don't let your goat eat chicken feed he/she will get sick or die !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The large red chicken with the red face and long greenish black tail is an RIR rooster

The silkie with furry feathers is a rooster

Neither of these is 9 weeks old they are both much to mature for that

the white and gray one looks like a young rooster but I am not sure

The blueish gray one infront of the red rooster could either be a mature hen or a young rooster I am not sure

some others are a bit red for pullets post better pictures if you can and I will be able to help more

Good Luck with your new chickens,
Henry

I did not know that the chicken feed would hurt the goat, I will not let her visit the chickens anymore.

I know that the big gray one is a hen, just dont know what kind of hen.

I was thinking that the little ones looked big to be only 9 weeks also.

when my arm heals I will catch them and take better pictures. I really think at least 3 are roosters, the solid yellow one, and the two little dirty white colored ones, as for the others, I have no clue. thanks for the help.

I am not sure about the blue hen either maybe blue orph but they are extreamly rare. Blue andilusion or somthing else

The brown and white one on the right side of the first pic looks like an ISA brown. I think that is what they are called. The one in the middle of first pic looks like a red star (red sex link), and the one on the left looks like a mutt, and a potential roo mutt at that.

The one that is buff colored could be a BO, and it is showing a lot of red in it's comb too.

Fourth pic, brown one in back is a roo.

The blue one is much older and is a hen. It could be a cochin if it has feathered feet. But it has brown mixed in it's blue, so it is probably a mix of some sort.

Man those kids are cute as can be. That pic of the goat and the sleeping little girl should be pic of the week. And don't I want to kiss those chubby cheeks on that baby!!

thats just great, all pullets my foot! I was thinking the buff one was a roo, and the white one on the 3rd pic and the white one in the 5th pic, I hadnt even noticed the brown one looking like a roo but it sure does. Im thinking some of those are just mutt chickens, mainly the 3rd and 5th pic. Thanks so much for the comments on my kids, those pics just snuck in there, not sure how:D

In the first picture..the one on the far right is just beautiful!!!
