What kind of Duck is this?

It is about two and a half months old but I know about chickens so I am lost please help...
Is it a boy or girl?

it has also turned to a darker tan color in the last 2-3 weeks.

I was going to say crested buff, too, but I wasn't sure. I am not sure on the gender, though. In another couple of months it'll be more apparent for it will grow a drake feather if it's a boy.

went back thru facebook pics for a date the duck is 3months and three days old now and no curly feather so its a girl right?

Not all breeds of drakes will develop a curled feather,and even in the usual breeds,not all males will grow it. It may sound funny,but does it 'quack' loudly? Or does it make a soft noise.Hens are noisey and drakes are real quite.Soft voice.I agree with the majority on it being crested buff. It is definately NOT a Pekin. I have 104 Pekins right now.They are solid white ducks with bright yellow bills and orange feet.
