What kind of duck is this?

My family is getting ducks and I want to start finding a few different kinds to get. I found one that could be show quality, but I won't know until I get the species name. PLEASE, IF YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS CAN YOU RESPOND?!

I think it is a Ruddy Shelduck but not certain.

Yes, Ruddy Shelduck. Not a domestic breed, it's a wild species. Big difference, but very commonly confused terminology.

There are only four wild species that are accepted into the APA standard- two wild duck species and two wild goose species. Anybody want to guess what they are?
