What kind of flight netting?

For those of you have flight netting over your runs......what kind do you like the best?

Do those of you who have regular flight netting (not deer netting) prefer the bigger or smaller mesh?

I prefer the knotted kind to the knitted kind myself. It is much stronger, and more durable.

What about the 1" versus the 2" with snow load?

Well, I can say that the 2 inch will let the wild birds in the pen, and the 1 inch doesn't for the most part. As far as snow, my 2 inch netting got about 6 inches on it before I realized it, and it held up very well. The knotted doesn't stretch so much like the knitted kind also.
