What kind of geese are these?

I know nothing about geese and someone has asked us to relocate them. What can you tell me about their personalities in general, will they forage for food well if we relocate them to a private pond stocked with fish?

They look like greater whitefronts or emporor geese...

I would say a brown chinese cross due to the orange beaks. Mine are pretty loud and can be aggressive but I know that there are people out there with nice ones. They are great foragers, I dont even feed mine in the warmer months as they have no interest in pellets and corn, they prefer to eat grasses and weeds. Mine also love to swim and I can imagine that they would do very well on a pond. It looks like you have a male female pair and although they are not generally broody they will brood eggs so babys are always a possibility as well. They look like a nice pair, whatever you do good luck with them!
