How do I look at their earlobes? I didn't know they had them....

Their "earlobes" are a patch of skin, red or white, on the face behind the eyes, above the waddles. Look at this page of minorcas at feathersite.

http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGK/Minorc/BRKMinorca.html

Minorcas have white earlobes, and they're easily visible because of the contrast with the black feathers. There's a picture near the top of the page comparing the earlobe of a minorca to a white-faced black spanish. They're very exaggerated, but those are earlobes. If you scroll down, you'll see some really obvious "ears" on the birds.

Now look at the picture of the white hen you posted. See her red earlobes? That means she's a brown egg layer. The minorcas have white ears, so they lay white eggs.

Thank you!

I guess we're going with White Rock, then?
