I want to order a large glass jar to store more feed.
I originally planned to order it here https://www.reihey.com,
but if the quantity is too small, the price will be higher, and the glass is also fragile.
What is generally do you used to store feed?

I buy feed in 50-lb bags, so I don't store it in jars. I store it in a metal trash bin with a lid, which keeps it safe from bugs, mice and rats, as well as keeping it dry so it doesn't mold. I have 21 hens and a rooster plus 16 chicks.

I buy 40 or 50 pound bags of feed so jars wouldn't work. Plus, I wouldn't waste a jar on chicken feed, all my jars go for canning or storing human food. I put the bag I'm currently using in a plastic trash can with a locking lid. And extra bags I have go in a heavy duty plastic tote

We live out in what might be considered "farm country" even though we're considered to be in the suburbs of Paris. These are the most useful barrels we've found for storing chicken feed:

They're sturdy, food quality and come in sizes from 30 litres (a litre is roughly the same as a quart) up to 240 litres. And, you can store these outside - safe from bugs, mice and various weather elements.

Are you fermenting, what’s your flock size? I use 1.5Liter jars for 9 chickens. They get 2 jars per day + scraps.
