What kind of rabbit??

I am wanting to get a couple rabbits and I was wondering if there was a certain breed known to be calm and friendly? I know every animal has their own personality and even breeds know for being nice can have a mean one in the bunch. Is there any breeds I should avoid also. I'm just looking for pets, so it doesn't matter about the meat. Thanks.

If your just wanting a rabbit for a pet then I wouldn't look for a specific breed honestly. I have meat rabbits and three of my four are pretty sweet =)

Where are you located? The Kanawha County shelter has a couple rabbits, and the one in Princeton has several. Seems many of our state's county shelters use Petfinder.com so you can put your zip code in and see what's near you

Thank you so much! Princeton isn't too far from me so I'll check that one out first. I never thought about an animal shelter having rabbits!
