What kind of Roo is this? (Lots of pics)

I got a flock from my brother...HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I know all the breeds except the Rooster...and a pullet, but I'm not too concerned about the pullet. Please help me ID this Roo. I have looked at photos of different ones and I am at a loss. You'll notice his legs are dark (grey/blue). In character, he does NOT like being handled, but is otherwise easy to be around. He calls the hens to food he has found instead of gobbling it up, and is protective of the hens...perking up and coming to investigate when we pick up a hen.

Awesome! They are supposed to be good in hot climates and be excellent free-ranging (resistant to disease and able to fend for themselves). That is exactly what I need. I wonder if breeding him with my hens will give me any particular strengths in the chics...I guess it's time to start studying about breeding.
