I have this very large tree slash bush in my planter....no idea what it is. But it is covered in fruits! Look kind of like apricots, tbh, but we had one of those trees before and this is nothing like it. It really is more like a really huge bush. No substantial TRUNK but rather a bunch of smaller ones.

Any ideas?

Apricot, could be a bad graft job, or the rootstock can send up it's own canes if it's not been pruined/maintenanced right.

So is it gonna be jelly or apricot wine?

My apricot has leaves that are more heart-shaped. Could it have grown from peach pits that were discarded there? I have a small grove of trees/bushes like that.

It's probably a peach or a nectarine that has died and the rootstock has sent up a bunch of suckers. Sometimes the rootstock is from a very hardy plant with awful tasting fruit.

I don't know WHy, but I thought 'quince' when I saw the fruit.

Maybe a Loquat.
(No, not Loquat. Edge of leaves is not smooth on Loquats.

Serviceberry?

We'd have to see a photo of a fruit a little closer.

Does the tree ever blossom? What color are the flowers?
