What kind of tree/bush is this? fruits

I don't remember if it blossoms. This is only my second spring here....I'm thinking yes. There a million plants and trees here and I am at best a.....really bad gardener.

Looking at pictures online it looks like peach, judging by tree "shape" and leaves. But that thought never even crossed my mind since the fruits are the size of apricots. There are tons of them on the "tree" though.

I'll pull one and cut open tomorrow. Interesting!
