Rat.

When I had pet rats I would give them the whole carcasses of quail that had passed away naturally. This is how they looked when they were done with them. If left with what you see there long enough, they will begin to eat the rest, but they always go for organs and brains first. Your predator has to be small, in order to get into the body cavity without completely obliterating it.
I would bet money that it is a rat.

someone posted on here earlier about an injured chick that was fenced while they worked in thier garden and they went out front to water and then came back a hawk was trying to kill the chick from outside of the chickenwire and suceeded in injuring severl of them, but i bet they would have died if the person hadn't showed up. they could easily pick a carcass clean. I seel them do it to peoples pet rabbits and small dogs around here.
