Ok but are you sure it’s a he? The other one had a curled tail and definitely belted it out . This one kinda makes noise but doesn’t sound like a roo

How old? I would literally put $10000 on this rooster crowing in some form or another in the next 3 months regardless of environment.

I have 8-9 cockerels right now all about 13 weeks old. Some of them have been crowing for three weeks, some haven't crowed once yet. But those droopy feathers and big comb are sure signs.

So don't be too surprised that one might be crowing when another isn't if they're pretty young still.

He's too young, and cannot make a proper rooster crow yet. But he'll get there..
His tail is also large and drooping downwards.. definitely cannot find that on a female Black Australorp!

What color are the bottoms of the feet?
Yellow underfoot= black jersey giant
Pinkish White= black australorp
And he’s 100% male.

Never seen a JG at TSC but yeah, that's a valid option too IMO.
