Hello! So, because of a dog attack, I lost 21 birds and had to order chicks. I got 24 "pullets" (we will see). However, one of them, an Easter Egger, her feathers are growing in funny. She's normal in every other way and gets along great. I'm thinking maybe she's a frizzle? (I haven't had a frizzle before.) What do y'all think?

I had a few that had wonky feathers as chicks, but they smoothed out on their own later. She could also be frizzle, like you said, but I don't have any myself so I can't say if that's what the feathers look like as they grow in.

I've had a frizzle chick and the feathers look like someone took a curler to them. You girl looks a little disheveled, but I think she's just unique!
