What on earth is going on with this Orpington?

I know they can be slow feathering but this chick is 6 weeks old, the silkie chick next to it is 2 weeks old and already feathering. I bought the Orpington as I had a singlet hatch and went out to get a couple of chicks to keep it company so don’t know a lot about the breeding. (Incidentally the other two I got with this one have been out for over two weeks now, and fully feathered and obvious gender.)
Does anyone have any ideas? Gender? Colour? It’s a big strong bird so I assume healthy!
ps. The feathers it does have are also scruffy.

No silkie is only 2 weeks, Orpington is 6 weeks

Sorry i see I need to learn to read better lol. I would say pullet. At 6 weeks I dont see and prominent comb or wattle. It is odd that she doesnt have more feathers at 6 weeks though. Maybe just a late bloomer. She looks healthy. Couldn't tell you anything about color.

Thanks. I was expecting a buff but it’s obviously not that colour!
never known one feather so slow.

That really is slow feathering.
It may have something wrong with it,
it may not. If the feathers seem ragged and off, i would think something is genetic. Only time will tell.

it won’t be used for breeding but if it’s a Pullets we will keep it as the kids are very fond. It’s such a big healthy chick in every other way.
