What people food is ok to feed my chickens??

My mother worked in a grocery store that threw out alot of outdated and spoiled vegetables. Only things that they wouldn't eat were onions, peppers and citrus fruits. Thier favorites were the grapes. Don't tell anyone but I too ate some of the better ones before giving the rest to the chickens. Watermellon rinds were picked to the outside shell. Not much left of anything with cantalope or honeydew mellons. I did have a rooster that liked a bit of grapefruit if I cut it in half but over all, nothing spicy or acidic for chickens.

Some spicy foods are alright for chickens. They put capsassium and cayenne pepper in some chicken foods. Chickens don't have heat sensors so it doesn't bother them.
