what pest is it?

I have noticed reddish brown oval shaped bugs in my coop and run.
They are small and I thought maybe they were red mites. After some research I find out mites do not fly, and these do.
They are around day and night.
Can someone please help me identify what they might be.

Strange.....can you post a picture? How big are they? The size of a grain or rice or maybe the size of a pencil point?

smaller than a grain of rice but larger than a pencil point. I will try to get a picture posted soon.
