I have constructed 6 pens (started with 3 but decided to add on now while I had the help) 10X8 pens with 10X50 runs. I love pheasants but cant decide on which ones to get. Please help. We will be planting them this week and adding rock, logs, and branches to add a lot of cover. I read so many articles on the types and stocking densities with male and female. I would like to breed them but don't want to have to many males fighting and injuring one another. That is why I need to ask the real enthusiasts to help me decide. I currently have 3 chicken breeds and will have several pair of mandarin and wood ducks (as soon as the ponds are constructed in the pens). If their are any suggestions please let me know.
