Toxic or not to goats?Striped Barbados lily is perennial herbs with showy flowers but it contains toxic compounds, most notably alkaloids lycorine and tazetine, as well as calcium oxalate crystals.
Pls tells, someone?
Thanks!I found this
https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/toxic-and-non-toxic-plants/barbados-lily
and it doesn't mention anything about it being toxic to goats. Watch for signs of vomiting or if they seem tired. If at all possible, call an emergency vet and see what the vet says.
The flowers are for sure but I would keep them away from it even though it isn’t exstremly toxi for them to eat it. Sorry I did not see this till now.Toxic or not to goats?
