Native, similar flowers. Similar leaves.

Comparable berries???

That's what I said I thought it was up in the first post as the flower is identical those on google. I'm pretty sure that's the one, and some places said it was toxic to livestock.

If it is this, it says this about it...

The leaves of this tree contain the liver toxin ngaione, which can cause sickness and or death in stock such as horses, cattle, sheep and pigs.


It doesn't mention chickens though.

It doesn't mention chinchillas either, but I wouldn't let my chinchilla eat it.

Sorry, yes, you did - but when I put Myoporum into my search engine, I got Myoporum Parviflorum - the ground cover, not the tree.

Thanks for all your posts, I think it is Ngaio (Myoporum).
