Hey to the Dove pros out there!
I've read on equally adamant websites that you must not/may certainly keep Diamond Doves with finches.
Long story short - I just came into posession of a female zebra finch and female Diamond. They are currently together and seem fine. Then again, it's been a whole 24 hours, so who's to say yet...? lol
I thought of getting each a mate...but...maybe they can keep each other company instead?
Any info / insight appreciated. TIA!!
BTW: The goal here is to have hapy healthy birds that I look at and enjoy - not breeding. The idea of mates is just for the comfort/companionship for my girls.
