What Sex Are These Appenzeller Spitzhauben x?

I'm leaning toward cockerels. Both are SS Appenzeller Spitzhauben x - black one was born May 1st (doesn't have either very pointed or wide, rounded saddle feathers, has narrow hackle feathers), black & white one was born June 16th.

Opinions? Why?

Crested breeds are difficult to sex, as I am sure you know. At this point my guess is that the dark one is a pullet and the lighter one is a cockerel.

I can't see the dark ones comb at all, so that is one factor. But there aren't any male traits that I can see, and the legs look pretty thin. So guessing female at this point.

The light one has much thicker legs, or that's how it looks in the pictures. And its comb shows color at two months old, plus there is a little color where the wattles would form if it wasn't bearded. It's not definite, but I would guess this one is a cockerel.
