I am pretty sure that my 10 week old Serama is a rooster but I wanted to get another opinion from my friends on BYC. So what do you think?

what you got is a rooster. He looks kinda big to be a serama. Or is it just a close up.

He also has the wrong color legs to be a Serama. If I am incorrect please someone tell me. But I believe this is a mix or maybe a diff.... breed.

I was told that it was a pure Serama. It is a close up picture but he is as big as my barred rock and production Red that were hatched at the same time.

He probably isn't pure then. His legs should be yellow.

I have a auction up right now with a serama. you can look at the pictures of them and see the leg coloring diff..... plus size.

If I remember, Ill post a pic of an Australorp chick with a batch of serama chicks that are a few months old. The 'lorp is near the same age, and looks about the size of the roo you posted. The Australorp TOWERS over the seramas. They are about as tall as pop cans and going on about three months old now..
Your roo doesn't have the right body shape or structure for a serama either..
Ill see if I can get those pics up for you!

Who in the world told you this was a serama?! I hope you set them straight. Its not even close to a serama.

I bought it when it was a day old and was told that it was a Serama. These are the first chickens that I have ever raised and just took their word for it.

I found this picture from another posting on BYC and they were saying that it was a Serama. It looks very similar to mine but a little older.
