I hatched these birds for a school embryology project almost two months ago, and I'm starting to get nervous about their sexes. We can't keep roosters, so they'll have to be relocated. We're not exactly sure the breeds, but these are our guesses:

Daquan (brahma/EE)

Noodle (EE)

and the twins (I thought they were RIRs when I picked them, but we see how that went; now I have no idea what they are)

Parm

Thumb

I have a really bad feeling about Thumb, I'm pretty confident that Daquan is a girl, and I'm on the fence about Parm and Noodle.

Agreed, Parm and Thumb are cockerels, and they appear to be calico princes (instead of the hybrid's name of princess). Its a hybrid that Hoover's makes.

wow, that's practically identical! the chicks were from a small family farm that (I think) just lets their birds breed like crazy, so I don't think that even if they are from Hoover's that they're purebreds. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they accidentally bred a sussex and RIR to make calico princesses though lol
