Alright I have three people wanting to come out to my farm to look at my birds and pick up some young ones.

But I have no clue what to charge.

I have 2 SLW that I paid $3.50 each as chicks. 2 months old

I have 9 Brahma Mutts I hatched. 2 months old

Blue Egg laying EE chicks.

Partridge Cochin cockeral. 4 months old

As a basic price what should I charge? I don't want to overprice, but I do want to be able to at least pay for the feed they have eaten and maybe make a buck or two profit to help feed my others.

I would check out prices here and on craiglist, eggbid, and ebay to see what others are charging and go from there. Good luck.

depends on what sex they are. lately here roosters have been going any where from 7 -12 dollars for pure breed. Now the hens the closer to laying age the more money I got 9.00 apiece for polish hens that were 10 week old. But for some reason polish seem to be the rage this year.lol at least here in Florida. I could sell all I hatch.

Oh yeah I got 18.00 for my giant cochin rooster and 22.00 for his hen they were 11 months old

I sell pullets for $15 each if they buy less than four. Four or more pullets I charge $12.50 each. Roosters I either give away or sell for $5 a piece if I'm lucky.

The SLW's I'd say maybe double what you paid, or about $8-10 ...since they have another 2 months or so till laying...

the mutts, maybe $6

the EE'S $3.50

And the roo, I'd try for $15

Good luck
