what should i do with my broody hen

hi i have a broody d,uccle and today is day five she is doing really good keeping the other bigger breeds off her nest but the only thing is the spot she likes to lay in is off the ground and next to it are the roosting bars that the hens sleep on and a ladder i dont want a chick to fall but this is my first broody hen and dont know if i will break her by moving her i want to put her in a tote on the coop floor so she can come and go when she wants but will the bigger hens try a take that spot from her when would be a good time to move her on day 16 or so or not that close to lock down im going to move her at night so she does not just get off the nest but what do i do the next morning if she gets off the nest thanks for help

i just moved my broody and she was fine just move her at around 8:00 she might not sit on the eggs right away so just leav her to be for a little while if you think you still might break her just wait until the eggs hatch or are very close
