What should I feed my chickens?

What kind of food should I feed my hens and roosters? I would like to get a lot of eggs. I dont know of any kind of feed that will give you more eggs.

Perhaps not more eggs, but a goodly number comes from good, fresh quality feed and water. Poor feed and water will absolutely reduce egg count.

I prefer a quality, national feed brand, 17% protein layer.
