Ok, so I am two *impossibly*

long weeks until my very first hatch...

I want to be as prepared as I can if there are any issues with my goslings - can you experienced hatchers share what medications, supplements and other stuff I should have on hand in a first-aid kit? I live in a pretty rural area, so I want to make sure I gather my supplies ahead of time. I don't have ANY poultry specific stuff, so please share any tips on good stuff to have on hand beyond the hatch, too!

Thanks ahead of time for your suggestions - maybe this will keep me busy for a bit and keep me from obsessively checking my 'bator for a day or two

bag balm i use it when i have an ornery chick pecking the others....even now in my older babies when one gets hurt or pecked i apply tht and it heals them right up!! Good luck on your hatch!! I am gettin ready for my first hatch....bator will be here this week along with my eggs. I am so excited and yet a nervous wreck!!

Also someone recommended poly visol to me the baby vitamin drops....to put in their water when they first start drinking. Helps build their imunities up.....i however haven't tried it yet as i do not have any chicks just mature chickens. If anyone knows about the baby vitamins bein a good thing please reply Thanks!!!
