What side do you put eggs on for lockdown?

Lockdown is arriving, and I want to make sure the eggs don’t pip on the wrong side. How do you know what side to put them on in lockdown? It’s in a few hours.

Any side is finw, usually they instinctively pip up

I like to place mine in lock down in the same exact position as I placed them in the incubator on day one.
I was having a hard time remembering them all exactly so now on day one I take pics.

sometimes the air cell can have quite a steep slope come lockdown, especially if they were saddle shaped to start with but I haven't found there to be any problems lying it down any way. They orientate themselves in the last 3 days and sometimes earlier hatchers will kick other eggs thus turning them and those eggs hatch fine so as long as they don't get shrinkwrapped I think any way on it's side is fine.
