What size leg rings to buy?

I have three australorp pullets, now 14 weeks old. I can tell one apart, but the other two look identical. I was thinking of buying leg rings but have no clue what size to buy, whether to wait until they're fully mature (or even when, exactly that is), and then if you need a special tool to put them on. Any help for this newbie would be much appreciated.

Try getting a pack of multi colored zip ties. I use them and they are great because you can adjust them. Just trim the ends carefully.
