What size run do two standard size hens need?

How much space do two standard size hens need in their run? Also, the available space for my run is 3ft x 8ft, would that meet the requirements for two hens or should I keep pigeons or quails in it?

The general rule of thumb is 10-15sqft per bird in the run, so you'll need a minimum of 20sqft in the run.

Not being flippant, but I'd say as much as you can give them. If you can give them 40-50sf, they would be happier.

Plus, keeping only 2 chickens can be problematic....quail might be a better choice.
