Sorry
, this one jumped out at me today. Its funny how old songs do that to you when you're in a mood.

Epic-

Can you feel it ,see it, hear it today?
If you can't, then it doesn't matter anyway
You will never understand it 'cause it happens too fast
And it feels so good, it's like walking on glass
It's so cool, it's so hip, it's alright
It's so groovy, it's outta sight
You can touch it, smell it, taste it so sweet
But it makes no difference 'cause it knocks you off your feet
You want it all but you can't have it
It's cryin', bleedin', lying on the floor
So you lay down on it and you do it some more
You've got to share it, so you dare it
Then you bare it and you tear it
You want it all but you can't have it
It's in your face but you can't grab it
It's alive, afraid, a lie, a sin
It's magit, it's tragic, it's a loss, it's a win
It's dark, it's moist, it's a bitter pain
It's sad it happened and it's a shame
You want it all but you can't have it
It's in your face but you can't grab it
What is it?
It's it
What is it?...

Mid-life Crisis pops in to my mind more and more these days! LOLOL

(Love that whole CD)

strangely I had both of those stuck in my mind yesterday (today's is "falling to pieces")

I love that song! I always felt bad for the fish at the end though

Later found out that in the making, they only let him flip and flop once and just replayed it instead of making the poor thing continue to gasp for air

Climb Every Mountain!
Just love song and Julie Andrews singing it in the meadow...

Cannot remember all the lyrics but here's some

Climb Every Mountain
Cross every stream
Follow every rainbow
Till you find your dream,,,,,

A dream is a wish every life can fulfill
Every day of your life for as long as you live...

I just love those Rodgers and Hammerstein Musicals...

Kinda took that dream leap when we bought the farm....mmm... Great post by the way

Have a blessed day.

This one I have listened to daily since summer

This one when it is not a great day

This one for my horse I bought in APril. It played on the way after we left the barn after I found her and my dh had kept saying you'll find her you just need patience. I already knew she was THE ONE and that is what we call her for a barn name.It took 10 months and looking at 30 different horses. But She had me when she turned her face to me.All my horsey friends see the irony in her name.I didnlt like the song much till after I got her.

tough question - there are so many - I'm always humming something (drives hubby nuts).

I would have to say almost anything by Tom Petty - I particularly love "Runaway Train" and "Saving Grace"

I also tend to listen to a lot of Peter Gabriel. (favorite is "Washing of the Water"
)

can't find a link to Runaway Train, but here is Saving Grace >>

ETA -- I just found out this is Soul Asylum, not Tom Petty - sure does sound like Tom, though.

RUNAWAY TRAIN
Call you up in the middle of the night,
like a firefly without a light,
you were there like a blow torch burnin',
I was a key that could use a little turnin'

So tired that I couldn't even sleep,
so many secrets I couldn't keep,
I promised myself I wouldn't weep,
one more promise I couldn't keep

It seems no one can help me now,
I'm in too deep theres no way out,
this time I have really led myself a-stray

Runaway train never goin' back,
wrong way on a one way track
seems like I should be getting somewhere,
somehow I'm neither here nor there

Can you help me remember how to smile,
make it somehow all seem worth while,
how on earth did I get so jaded,
life's mysteries seem so faded

I can go where no one else can go,
I know what no one else knows,
here I am just a drowning in the rain,
with a ticket for a runaway train

Everything seems cut and dry,
day and night, earth and sky,
somehow I just don't believe it

Runaway train never goin' back,
wrong way on a one way track
seems like I should be getting somewhere,
somehow I'm neither here nor there

Bought a ticket for a runaway train,
like a madman laughin' at the rain,
a little out of touch little insane,
its just easier than dealing with the pain

Runaway train never goin' back,
wrong way on a one way track
seems like I should be getting somewhere,
somehow I'm neither here nor there

Runaway train never comin' back,
runaway train tearin' up the track,
runaway train burnin' in my veins,
run away but it always seems the same
