What sort of duck is this

Hi everyone

My neighbour bought this duckling over 3 weeks ago as she said she found it in her backyard alone and couldn’t find its mum. Can someone please let me know what sort of duck it is. My daughter thinks it maybe a gosling. I have zero idea just that we couldn’t let it die and have looked after It ever since

Interesting... I really don’t know much about ducks or geese. We want to get ducks next year so I need to do my research over the winter.
