I'm incubating some turkey eggs and was getting wildly different readings from my plural thermometers so I decided to try getting a small (travel-size shampoo) bottle, filling it with water and letting it sit in the incubator over night to come to temp and measure the temperature that way. It was an attempt to model the eggs and see what they themselves are at. Does anyone know what temperature eggs should be internally while they're incubating? Has anyone else tried this before? I imagine it should still be about 99.5, right?
