What the deal with all the bantam?

Hahaha mine are the dumbest birds xD compared to the big ones I have, the bantams are always aww so cute! Dumb as a rock, but she doesn't need to be smart when she's so cute!

I personally like the tiny eggs a lot. Sometimes one normal sized omelette or a fried egg is like too much and I want a small silly sandwich xD

Depends on the breed. The game types are smart as a whip but I can't vouch for the fluffy things.

I love the OEGB because they eat less. My wife loves them because they cannot crow loud enough to be heard at the house.

I got into chickens as more of a hobby and eggs were just a bonus. So, I chose a sweet, small, friendly breed. The Cochin Bantam. And I love those birds! They are good layers, not of large eggs but they are consistent. I always have more eggs then I can use! They are cute and great for me. I'm not a fan of larger chickens so bantams are a great alternitive. Also, they take up less room meaning I put more in a coop, snd in my breeding pens. On top of that I take them to my fair and they are wonderful. So no, if you want big eggs or meat, Bantams are terrible. If you want pets, show birds, or you dont mind to have small vs large eggs, you should look into Bantams! This is my rooster, sitting on top of me, in our house.
