What the Duck?

He's not mean to me or my husband. He knows better, and we're not scared of him.

My poor dogs though, he's got it out for them. It cracks me up. He's always chasing after my elderly beagle, and then he'll go up and chest bump the boxer. The boxer doesn't care, but it's funny to watch this little duck try to antagonize the dog.

Last week, Mags the magpie, decided to go after my stepdaughter. Chasing after her, and pecking at her feet.I was laughing so hard I cried.

Never a dull moment at our house!

That is pretty funny. We have a chicken named Scully who is a Welsummer and she is huge. We raised her from a chick, she used to walk into my hands to be held and petted. When she got to maturity, because we do not have a rooster she grew spurs, i think they are called and she always tries to sneak up on my husband and challenge him. He says she is mean, but she does not do it to the other chickens or me. I think its funny but sadly he does not appreciate it haha. Our drake Chewie is very docile but I kinda wish he were less so, sounds like your drake is a good protector for your girls. Last incident we had, Chewie left the girls and flew into neighbors yard for safety. I was a little disappointed in him, especially since we lost one girl to that incident.
