Jeesh! I hear a non threatening, but attention getting for sure chatter from one of my 5 hens. They are normally pretty quiet with an occasional egg laying song; soooo, what the heck!? I go outside to see. 2 hens are in the henhouse laying. Well, what I seen was Coppertop standing outside of the curtain drawn nesting box carrying on and on! 4 nesting boxes you have coppertop. Why do you want to go in the only one being used. Poor Patient trying to lay that egg. But that noise was like her screaming her head off at her sister to Get OUt Of THe BathRoom!!!!!
