I've seen Roo do this before, and even Brooke (the SL Wyandotte in the video) was doing it while I was filming, but is there anything I should be concerned about? He was oddly enough standing on one foot during the video, but otherwise he's on both feet (was just a coincidence) and he would have his little neck bobbing fit and start closing his eyes.

They've been outside today because I don't know what this dang hurricane is going to do and if they'll be "cooped up" over the weekend.

Video:

Thanks for any input.

*Edit*

I did pick him up right after this video and just gave him a quick once-over. I've got to get my child from carpool, so I wanted to post this up before I left.

Never seen that before, it appears like he's trying to swallow, certainly there's something wrong with him, perhaps gape worms or something neurological, though he does look healthy otherwise.

Is this something new or has it been going on for awhile?
I agree could well be something neurological.
How old is he?

Didn't see that you posted here. This is something that I may have seen once or twice before, several months ago. Didn't think anything of it and he doesn't show any other signs.

I just went out to close the run door and noticed my GL Cochin (Lola) doing the same thing. Not sure how else to check them over for what symptoms they're exhibiting... any other ideas?

The two GL Cochins I got at the State Fair last year, so I'm not sure of the age.

I dunno....as long as his eating/drinking/pooping/activity levels are all OK, there's not much you can do.

Yea, all those activities are normal from what I can tell. I'll just keep an eye on them as much as I can.

Not sure it's normal, I've never seen my chooks move quite in that way...almost looks like he's having tiny seizures.

Well I meant his eating, pooping, etc are all normal. But yea... It does look like little seizures? I just don't know how to interpret that and what to do.

And I hate this daggone rain that we've been having for the last week...

Could you look in his throat with a flashlight to check for lesions or pus or inflammation to rule that out?
Posting to follow. Best of luck and hope you and yours are safe from the storm this weekend.
