What the heck is this chick???

Two days ago, I was cleaning our laying chicks' brooder and decided to do group photos of the different breeds. I went by what we had ordered. Makes sense, right? Well, when I was done taking the photos of the groups, I went to clean the holding pen where they'd all been... and there was still a chick in there! It wasn't our free rare chick, because we know that is our white crested black Polish, Stefanski. This chick has the right color combinations to be a Columbian Wyandotte, but the colors are in the wrong places and its beak is definitely a different color from our Columbian chicks and missing the dark dot on the end. The coloring sort of matches that for a Light Brahma, but this chick's legs aren't feathered. My husband and I went through all the chick pictures for standard-sized chicks on the McMurray Hatchery site last night and we still have no idea what this little thing is. Any ideas??? We're calling her Miss Terry for now...

Dunno, but she's cute! I didn't know that white crested black polish were rare-I got one this year at the feed store, LOL! She/he looks at little like a pterodactyl at 2.5 weeks old, just a warning.

Looks like a Silver Laced Wyandotte chick to me also.

Hmmm. This chick doesn't look at all like our other Silver-Laced Wyandotte chicks. All the others have speckled faces and have black/grey/white chipmunk-like markings on their backs and behind their eyes. The others also have pinkish beaks and feet. This chick doesn't have any of that. Compared to our S-L Ws, she's dainty! And compared to the Columbian Wyandottes, well, they're tractor trailers to her sleek sports car. ARGGGH!!! All the chicks we've ordered were accounted for. This is so frustrating!

Thank you for posting pics of the wyandottes, I believe the chicks my sister gave me from Tsc lookthe same. One question, one of the three is similar to yours but more black and white than them. Differant color wyandotte???

Don't forget to consider the Roo. If you have more than one, that's a factor. If you order then you just can't always tell. But they are beautiful birds!

All 6 of our Silver-Laced Wyandotte chicks are female, and I have two Columbian males and one female (even though I ordered 2 females and one male). The males look like identical twins. We're calling them Nigel 1 and Nigel 2 for now. The girl Columbian looks like the Nigels but with less markings... Miss Terry is still a mystery. But I love the little Columbians! And the SLWs? Well... they have faces only I as their mother could love!
