About 5 minutes ago, there's a pounding on my front door and my neighbor just OPENS the door and walks on into my living room. I barely know the guy!

Wanted to let me know that Zoey got loose and was running threw the woods. Thanks for telling me, but wait for a dang answer next time pal... sheesh.

I'll have to keep the dead bolt held fast. Crazy old man.

good thing he didnt do that at my house...he would have been met by a very protective shar pei and a great pyr ....plus a range of guns, which ever i grabbed first!!!!!

We lived above a bar once for a very short time...I had just jumped out of the shower...wrapped in a towel walked into my living room to head to the bedroom and who do I see standing in my living room!? My landlord! He says. "OH your door was open and I needed to check your water heater (I had called him the week before about it) I told him to please get out and knock first! He said he did knock HAHA well, then if I don't answer there MUST be a reason for it right?! We moved out the next week!

A few years ago I rented a condo in Big Bear for a four day ski trip.
The owner just walked right in as I was getting my board boots out of the closet.
I tackled him and my two friends grabbed a log from the fireplace. If he didn't start screaming his name we'd have bashed his head in.
He had the gaul to be mad at US!!!

We threw him out and reminded him that while tennents were renting (this is not a hotel) ,by law, he is required to knock and ask permnission to enter.

The wives were screaming, I was tackling, my buddies were ready to bash him into next week.
What a putz...

Had that issue only once, in San Diego. The owners of the apt. complex had hired exterminators to do the apts. They came in while I was in the shower with the keys they had. Umm... HELLO??? My kids were at school fortunately, but boy was I embarassed. I told them to get the hell out till I said it was ok to come in. Then told the apt. manager to make an APPOINTMENT with me if she wanted people in the apt. I was paying a ridiculous amount to live in! Sheesh!

Keep your door locked! That's just NUTS! Wonder what he'd do if you walked in over there????

I had a neighbor like that once. He lived two house over, and when we would get home from work, the phone would be ringing with him on the line when we walked in the house, or he would be on our back porch drinking a beer. Worse thing was that he was the landloard's son!
