What time of day do your girls lay?

my girls lay on pine straw as well. they always go back to the nest and the pinestraw makes for much cleaner eggs in my opinion.

whe i started a year ago i was worried to now i have 3 coops with three different breeds that free range together when its time to lay they go into their respective coops to do it as long as they know where "home" is you shouldnt have a problem
