Hi, I'm really looking for a successful hatch and i am in lockdown. I have heard of people having great progress until lockdown where they screw something up (wether its drowning or bad temps etc.).
I would like to dedicate this thread for advice on what to, and not to do

It appears to me from everyone's writings that things go bad during the first part of incubation, but you can't tell that something has gone wrong if the eggs still have embryos growing/moving inside the egg. It appears as if it is "something went wrong at the end because that's when they died."
However, I believe that the mistakes earlier on (temps too high, improper turning, etc.) Create weak chick's that may continue to grow, but wind up too weak or malpositioned in the shell to hatch. Management of moisture loss throughout incubation is much more important than any "lockdown" procedure.
